AMD announced its exclusive partnership with Bethesda for the PC version of Starfield not too long ago, and now we have the Starfield PC specifications with recommended AMD Ryzen and AMD Radeon hardware.
Bethesda explains the flagship "Legendary Experience" for "no-compromise 4K gamers who want the absolute best Starfield experience", while the "Epic Experience" is "ideal for hardcore 1440p or widescreen gamers to deliver max visual settings and high FPS", leaving the "Heroic Experience" being "the perfect entry specs for 1080p gamers to experience great visuals and framerates".
This doesn't mean that Starfield won't work on an Intel CPU or NVIDIA GPU, but AMD partnered with Bethesda for Starfield so they're going to push their hardware first and foremost. You could use an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor teamed with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB graphics card and still have a wicked, high-end "Legendary Experience" at 4K in Starfield.
Starfield PC system requirements only see PC gamers needing a Ryzen 5 3600X or Core i5-10600K processor for "recommended" specs, with 16GB of RAM and a Radeon RX 6800 XT or GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card. As for the "minimum" specs, you'll need a Ryzen 5 2600X or Core i7-6800K processor, 16GB of RAM, and a Radeon RX 5700 or GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card.
