NVIDIA recently announced its beefy new DLSS 3.5 upscaling technology, but now we're getting some eyes on with the graphics and performance upgrades that it will deliver inside of Cyberpunk 2077. In a recent video, we can see DLSS 3.5 versus DLSS 3.1, and boy... it's a big upgrade. It might not seem like much on paper, but visually you can see the difference clearly in the video below:
Cyberpunk 2077 was running on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB graphics card, at 4K and is tested with DLSS 3.1.1 against DLSS 3.5.0 and DLSS 3.5.0 FG (Frame Generation). In the video, there's a part with some fencing that sees DLSS 3.5 really shine... the fence looks absolutely perfect with DLSS 3.5 enabled while driving the FPS through the roof.
This is some early work here, with NVIDIA pushing out the DLSS 3.5 SDK not too long ago, with DLL files that people can swap out with any game that supports DLSS. This isn't official from Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD PROJEKT RED, so we should expect some more polish once DLSS 3.5 support is official in games. For now... we have some mighty impressive results from DLSS 3.5 with better-looking graphics and more performance across the board. No gamer can complain about that!
