Intel's new 14th Gen Core "Raptor Lake Refresh" CPUs are out in the wild, with the flagship Core i9-14900K and Core i7-14700K processors both spotted in some early benchmarks of Bapco software. Will the Core i9-14900K be the heart of your new Gaming PC? We'll have them in our Ready to Ship systems after their October launch.
The upcoming Intel Core i9-14900K flagship CPU features 24 cores and 32 threads of "Raptor Lake Refresh" power under the hood, inside of a system running 16GB of DDR5-4800 memory and NVIDIA's flagship GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card with 24GB of GDDR6X memory.
The new Core i9-14900K is around 14% to 20% faster than the Core i7-14700K processor on average, but when the new Core i9-14900K is compared against the current-gen Core i9-13900K, things don't look so well. They're early results, with many improvements to come before the new 14th Gen Core "Raptor Lake Refresh" family of processors launches in October.
