Intel's new 14th Gen Core "Raptor Lake Refresh" family of CPUs are getting closer and closer, with the mid-range Core i5-14600KF processor being teased with an ASUS Z790 motherboard and 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory. Is the new Intel Core i5-14600KF the processor of choice for your new Gaming PC? We'll have Intel's new 14th Gen Core "Raptor Lake Refresh" CPUs inside of our Ready to Ship Gaming PCs later this year.

The Intel Core i5-14600KF processor was tested in Geekbench, with the benchmark data showing a 5.3GHz clock frequency 200MHz higher than the Core i5-13600K processor. Regarding the Geekbench results, the new Core i5-14600KF processor scored 2794 points in the single-core benchmark, while scoring 17190 points in the multi-core benchmark.

This means the Core i5-14600KF is around 5.5% faster than the Core i5-13600K in single-core and a much more significant 17.2% faster in multi-core performance. This is a great result all-round, as it means that the boost in performance isn't just coming from the 200MHz higher CPU frequency, but maybe Intel is having all of the cores boost at higher speeds, improvements under the hood, or something we don't know about just yet.
