It doesn't feel real, but it's real... Starfield is nearly here, and we have some Global Release Times for Starfield to get you ready to traverse a sea of stars and enjoy the game.
Bethesda Game Studios have unleashed the official global release times for their next-gen RPG, which is hitting both the Xbox Series X/S console and the PC on September 6. Starfield launches 5 days earlier in Early Access form if you have the Premium Edition or the Constellation Edition of the game, which is just a week from now... on September 1 here in Australia.
Early Access for Starfield:
Regular launch of Starfield:
In order Starfield-related news, the big new game will NOT be launching with NVIDIA DLSS upscaling technology support. Why? Bethesda Game Studios partnered with AMD on Starfield, meaning that AMD Ryzen CPUs and AMD Radeon GPUs are front and centre in the game. We should expect to see AMD FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) support in Starfield at launch, but we will have modders adding NVIDIA DLSS support into the game post-launch.
AMD also unveiled an absolutely out-of-this-world Radeon RX 7900 XTX Starfield Limited Edition graphics card, which is themed and has been dipped in a bucket of Starfield goodness. It looks absolutely awesome -- in the video above -- next to the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Starfield Limited Edition processor. The CPU isn't anything special, as it's just the retail packaging that is themed with Starfield. But the GPU on the other hand, looks SO good.
