Grand Theft Auto V is still pumping away with millions of gamers playing it, originally launching 10+ years ago with mods, it's still one of the best-looking games you can play. Mods really do add touches of flair that developer Rockstar Games never envisioned a decade ago... but man, the latest video by the folks over at Digital Dreams is... well... dreamy. Not only do we have Grand Theft Auto V running at the glorious 8K resolution -- so, 7680 x 4320 which is 4x the pixels of 4K and 16x the pixels of 1080p -- but we've got the ReShade Ray Tracing mod applied, QuantV 3D clouds, and the GTAV Real mod. The GTAV Real mod turns Los Santos into Los Angeles, and the effect is fantastic. It looks just like LA in real life, and even better at 8K.
Let's just hope that the next-gen Grand Theft Auto 6 can look as good, hopefully even better, than this... we should expect GTA 6 to launch sometime in 2024.
