Diablo IV will have its servers down for scheduled maintenance over the next 36-48 hours, with the first scheduled maintenance kicking off at 9AM PDT, where for around 5 hours the servers will be funny at best, but the maintenance at 2PM PDT.
Blizzard has explained that "during this time, players may experience interruptions of service including disconnects, but should be able to log back in".
We do know that Blizzard has been smashed with DDoS attacks over the weekend that created headaches not only for Diablo IV -- which is massively popular, making $666 million USD in its first 5 days of launch -- as well as other games connected to Battle.net, including Overwatch 2. There is a patch coming for Diablo IV, with Blizzard's Global Community Development Director, Adam Fletcher, explaining that a patch is coming for Diablo IV "very, very soon".
Diablo IV will be experiencing another bout of downtime, which kicks off on June 27 @ 9:30AM PDT, finishing at 2PM PDT, with Blizzard explaining the same thing as the first scheduled maintenance "during this time, players may experience interruptions of service including disconnects, but should be able to log back in".
