CS:GO Milestone: 1.4 Million CONCURRENT Players!
CS:GO might be nearly 20 years old now, but it hasn't stopped the phenomenally successful game from bursting through a new milestone in 2023. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) reached a new milestone of 1.4 million concurrent players on March 11, 2023.
To be precise, CS:GO had 1,470,183 players on Saturday, smashing the previous record set in February 2023 of 1,308,963 concurrent players. The official CS:GO team tweeted out, thanking their community for breaking the huge milestone. You can check that tweet out here.
We've recently heard that Counter-Strike 2 isn't far away, with a recent leaker teasing we should get a huge upgrade with CS2 and that it will be powered by Valve's new in-house Source 2 engine, with million-and-one upgrades, meta changes, gameplay changes, and oh-so-much more.
