Forza Horizon 5 DLSS 3 Update Released: 4K 120FPS Unlocked 🏎️
The big new DLSS 3 update for Forza Horizon 5 is here and with it, brings some major performance upgrades for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU owners: this includes the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, RTX 4080, and the flagship RTX 4090.
In a new post on NVIDIA's official website, the company notes that with DLSS 3 enabled gamers can enjoy major performance upgrades that usher in 4K 120FPS... even on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. Forza Horizon 5 on maxed-out settings with the "Extreme" ray tracing preset and DLSS 3 enabled can enjoy 4K 120FPS+ on the RTX 4070 Ti, 148FPS average on the RTX 4080, and a huge 189FPS on the RTX 4090.
NVIDIA ran Forza Horizon 5 with DLSS 3 enabled on some seriously powerful PC hardware, including the Intel Core i9-12900K processor and 32GB of RAM, with their fleet of Ada Lovelace GPU-based GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs. Here are the results at 4K:
As you can see, the GeForce RTX 4090 is annihilating Forza Horizon 5 with DLSS 3 enabled... running at close to 4K 120FPS without DLSS 3 enabled but with it enabled... boy-oh-boy, we're nailing close to 200FPS average at 4K with maxed-out graphics and "Extreme" ray tracing enabled. Even the GeForce RTX 4080 easily passes 4K 120FPS with DLSS 3 enabled, and the third-fastest RTX 40 series GPU -- the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti -- nails 4K 125FPS+ in Forza Horizon 5 with DLSS 3 enabled. Wow.
But what about 1440p? Those results are even better, check it out:
Can you see that? 1440p at an insane 237FPS average on the RTX 4090... incredible stuff. 200FPS+ is still breached with the RTX 4080, while we have 175FPS average with DLSS 3 enabled from the RTX 4070 Ti. Crazy performance gains by enabling a single setting -- DLSS 3 -- exclusive to GeForce RTX 40 series GPU owners.
