The latest rumour is on the alleged enthusiast-level AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D processor, which rocks 16 cores and 32 threads of Zen 4-based CPU power at up to 5.4GHz, with AMD's impressive second-generation 3D V-Cache technology, and a TDP of up to 75W. AMD's desktop-based Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Ryzen 9 7900X3D and Ryzen 9 7950X3D processors are all inside of our Ready to Ship Gaming PCs, with the Ryzen 9 variants using dual CCDs... just like the new laptop-focused Ryzen 9 7945HX3D processor.
Inside of the upcoming ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 "G733PYV-LL045W" gaming laptop that features the alleged AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D laptop processor. The 16-core, 32-thread Zen 4 laptop CPU features a clock speed of up to 5.4GHz, versus the desktop Ryzen 9 7950X3D featuring a boost clock of up to 5.7GHz, this is impressive. The desktop variant uses up to 120W and can be air-cooled with our in-house Allied Sidewinder air cooler inside of our Gaming PCs, but this new laptop CPU at up to 5.4GHz will rock right along inside of next-gen gaming laptops.
