AMD has just pushed out a special version 23.10.23.03 release driver that addresses issues with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, where the game crashed when Radeon RX 7000 series users enabled ray tracing and Dynamic Resolution Scaling on their Gaming PC powered by AMD Radeon RX series graphics cards.
Gamers using the flagship AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card had crashes or driver timeout problems with ray tracing and Dynamic Resolution Scaling, something you don't want on a high-end Radeon RX 7900 XTX. The new driver isn't part of the official branch but rather based on the latest 23.7.2 driver.
This driver offers nothing new other than offering support for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on the PC and Radeon RX series hardware, acting similar to how NVIDIA offers its hotfix drivers before issues like what we have here with the game, get rolled into an official driver release.
