AMD and Bethesda have announced they're exclusive partners for Starfield on the PC, with the two companies working together to optimise Starfield on the Xbox and PC with AMD's Ryzen 7000 series CPUs and Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs.
That means that an array of our Ready to Ship Gaming PCs powered with Ryzen 7000 series and Radeon RX 7000 series products are perfectly suited for Starfield on a new Gaming PC.
Starfield Producer Tom Howard said that AMD engineers have been working with Bethesda on Starfield's codebase, to get SSR2 image processing and scaling into Starfield. In a video announcement on the partnership, AMD SVP Jack Huynh said: "These optimizations will both accelerate performance and enhance the quality of your gameplay using high multithreaded code, that both Xbox and PC players will get to take advantage of".
Starfield has been 25 years in the making, so making this even more special is the close collaboration between AMD and Bethesda in the game, as the two have been working "hand-in-hand" on Starfield.
